About The Book

Diagnosis Prostate Cancer PROGNOSIS “BEAT IT”

BEAT IT describes the initial shock, denial, and fear following Ken’s prostate cancer diagnosis, detailing his emotional journey while using his anxious imagination to describe the potential treatments.

He provides a raw glimpse into the psychological impact of a cancer diagnosis. The fear, denial, and the struggle to process information while highlighting the importance of partnership and shared decision-making about his choices. He prioritizes the subjective, emotional experience of prostate cancer beyond the redundant clinical details.

Underneath it all, he blames GOD for this affliction but makes the conscious decision in stillness to surrender to the present moment with new inspiration that connects with the ideologies of his Catholic beliefs.
